ACRO DANCE

This class is filled with contortion technique, flexibility training strength exercises and variations of tumbling skills with more of a slow lengthening technique with flips, walkover etc.

BALLET

Ballet is where it begins. Dancers will be covering the five basic ballet positions of the arms and feet.Proper body alignment. Pliés, Tendus and Ron de jambes, degages and ron de jambes at the barre. Across the floor , adagios and more.

HIP-HOP

Hip Hop is a style of dance that is full of energy where the dancer will learn strengthening exercises, isolations and choreography. 

JAZZ

Jazz is a fun energetic style of dance where Students will learn jazz port de bras, chasse, turns, leaps, flexibility exercises, across the floor exercises and center floor combinations and more.

MODERN

Modern has various styles within its technique such as Horton, Gram, Dunham and Limon. At DM We mainly focus on the Horton technique. In this class technique emphasis on flat backs, pelvic hinges, "lateral T's" fortifications and long-muscles. Across the floor work and center floor combinations.

POINTE

Pointe Classes are designed for students with previous ballet training. Dancers will utilize ballet technique while working in pointe shoes doing barre exercises, center floor work and across the floor combinations.

TAP

This class is designed for those with little to no experience with tap dance. The core of the class will focus on the development of basic technical skills (shuffles, flaps, pick-ups, riffs, etc). Rhythmus, sound and combinations.

TUMBLING

Tumbling is a great class that filled strength, technique, flips and fun such as Forward Tumbling Skills like Front Roll,Cartwheel(Left & Right),Handstand, Round off, Handstand Roll, Handstand Limber, Handstand Limber to Stand, Round off Rebound, Bridge Kickover from Standing,Backbend Kickover Connected, Back Walkover and more.
