It kind of goes without saying but dance is a great form exercise. Consistent movement is great for the heart, tones muscles and increased flexibility helps guard against injury.

Dancers are physically confident individuals because it takes skill to move, jump, leap and twirl in front of an audience all while making it look easy. Learning anything new forces your brain to work in positive ways. Learning and remembering choreography to a dance routine is an effective way to force your brain to learn how to decide how to move and how to react to those around you.
